Ashley Virginia Unveils Self-Made Album “all in the music”, Crafted in a Tennessee Treehouse
Greensboro, NC — North Carolina singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ashley Virginia has released her latest album, All in the Music, now available on all major streaming platforms. This deeply personal project was entirely written, recorded, engineered, and mixed by Ashley herself during a month-long solo retreat in April 2024 at The Treehouse of Center Hill in Smithville, Tennessee. The album was mastered by friend and collaborator Galen Clark.
“This record is my truest brainchild,” says Ashley. “I'm really excited to finally share it with the world. I learned a lot in the process of creating it, and since have even gotten opportunities to produce for others as well. In this world, you have to be a jack of all trades, and I really wanted to put a collection of songs out there that show off all that I can do.”
all in the music showcases Ashley's innovative approach to music-making, utilizing unconventional instruments such as a suitcase struck with a spoon and deer bones for percussion. The album's tracks delve into themes of overthinking, hustle culture, self-acceptance, and the healing power of nature and community.
